If you want to park your car overlooking the sea and Scottish hills on a flat expanse of open grass without having to pay for the privilege. If you want the kids to play and run the dogs on a beautiful green overlooking the sea and Scottish hills then come to Silloth.
If you want an easy walk round the headland with Saltmarsh and do some birdwatching and wildlife spotting on the way and we have it here in Silloth.
In addition to all this you can visit our amusements, toy soldier Museum, funfair and lifeboat station and shop to add a bit of variety and interest to your day.
If you come on a Sunday you have the added benefit of the Sunday market on the airfield from Easter to October.
Silloth is a good place for a days fishing. You can park your car right next to your Rod on a flat hardstanding so even if the weather does take a turn for the worst you can “fish” from the comfort of your vehicle. There is a very good chippy just a short walk away so you don't even have to bother putting up sandwiches for the day.
